v0 is the fastest UI prototyper that has ever existed. You describe a screen, it ships React components with Tailwind and shadcn/ui that look like a designer made them. For exploring product ideas visually, nothing else is close.

What v0 is not
v0 generates UI, not a backend. It does not decide where your data lives, how users sign in, how money moves, or what happens when the request fails. That is the part we build around your v0 output so it becomes a working product, not a working screenshot.
The five gaps we close
These are the patterns we see in almost every v0 project we audit. None of them are about v0 being bad — they are about the difference between a working prototype and a product real users rely on.
Backend & database
v0 components have placeholders where the data should be. We wire them to a real backend — Next.js API routes, tRPC, a Supabase or Postgres database — with proper schemas, migrations, and seed data.
Authentication
v0 will show you a beautiful sign-in form. It will not implement the sign-in. We wire it up with Auth.js, Clerk, or Supabase Auth — whichever fits your roadmap — including password reset, email verification, and session handling.
Payments
Stripe Checkout, subscriptions, webhooks that update your database when a customer pays — the entire payment loop that turns "people use it" into "people pay for it."
Production deployment
v0 components run on Vercel by default. That is fine for most apps, and we tune it — preview deployments per pull request, environment variables, custom domain — but we can also migrate you off Vercel if cost or sovereignty requires it.
Loading states, error states, empty states
v0 ships the perfect-world version of every screen. We add the three other versions every real product needs: loading, error, and empty. Usually with better skeletons and clearer error messages than the default.
v0 outputs React + Tailwind + shadcn/ui, usually within Next.js. We work with that stack natively and have shipped many production apps on top of it.
